Editorial Policy

The rules we hold ourselves to.

Our only obligation is to the reader trying to file a claim before the deadline.

Independence

We accept no advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate revenue from defendants, their counsel, settlement administrators, or law firms representing class members. The directory is funded by reader support and a B2B data license sold to consumer-advocacy nonprofits.

Accuracy

Every listing cites the official court-approved notice. Eligibility summaries are line-edited against the source document before publication. Material errors are corrected within 24 hours and disclosed at the bottom of the affected page.

Conflict of interest

Writers and editors are barred from filing claims on cases they personally researched. When a staff member has a pre-existing claim, the listing is assigned to a colleague and the conflict is logged internally.

AI use

We use AI tools to surface candidate cases from court dockets and to draft first passes of metadata. Every published word — eligibility, payout estimate, deadline, proof — is read and approved by a human editor.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. We summarize public notices so you can decide whether to file. If you need representation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
